(1) Premium Grade Stainless Steel. The body of the action is machined from 17-4 stainless steel. This is a tougher, more corrosion resistant material compared to 4000-series alloy often used on firearms. The surface of the action is hardened to 42-43 RC. The bolt body uses even tougher 9310 steel, surface hardened to over 60 RC.

(2) 30 MOA Base is Included on 50 CAL. You may also choose a 45 MOA or 60 MOA base. Bases are optional with standard and magnum actions.

(3) Tapped for Heavy Duty 8-40 Scope Base Screws. These are larger screws than standard rifles to stand up to the recoil of the 50 caliber cartridge.

(4) Cutout for Recoil Lug Pin. A recoil lug that is pinned to the receiver will not shift in its bedding when the rifle barrel is replaced.
