Adrian Gonzalez shot this Kodiak bear with a McMillan Outdoor rifle chambered in 300 RUM. Adrian used 200 gr. a-frame ammo at 3,125 f/s.
Michael Hankerson experienced successful hunts using his McMillan rifle, an Outdoorsman chambered in 30-378. Michael took three animals in three states. In New Mexico he shot a B&C antelope at 600 yards, in Southern Arizona he took a Coues deer at 600 yards, and in Oklahoma he harvested a 6x6 bull elk at 525 yards. Michael used custom ammo with 180 gr bullet.
Kolbi Sorensen at 8 months pregnant harvested her first big game animal with a McMillan Outdoorsman chambered in 300 RUM. One shot at 298 yards stopped the big bull in his tracks. He ended up scoring 318" and taped an impressive 50" wide.

Chad Reel recently returned from another successful hunt, a solo Black Tail Deer hunt on Kodiak Island. Chad passed up more than 20 bucks before selecting two non-typical ones. Seth Johnson, producer of Extreme Outer Limits (EOL) TV show, took this nice oryx on a recent hunt in South Africa. The horns measured 40.5" in length and the circumference at the base was 8". Seth's choice of rifle was a McMillan EOL Outdoorsman in 300 RUM. The rifle was topped with a Nightforce scope and Seth's selection of ammunition was 185 grain Berger VLD.
The EOL crew was in South Africa filming their first long-range hunting show.
Chad Reel, outfitter and guide with Reel Alaska Trophy Hunt, experienced his own successful Alaskan hunt using his McMillan rifle, an Outdoorsman chambered in 300 Ultra Magnum. Chad went on a registration hunt and harvested a 7-year old, 115- pound mountain goat. To add to the excitement, Chad wasn't able make it off the mountain before dark with such a heavy pack, so he opted to make camp and curl up on the goat hide for warmth. Since he smelled like a big juicy goat steak in grizzly bear country, he kept his Outdoorsman by his side throughout the night.
A week later Chad hunted on Kodiak Island where he saw over 30 bucks in one day. It was truly a target rich environment. He shot three bucks and a cross fox. One buck was non-typical and gnarly and another buck was super heavy and only had one tooth left in his mouth.

What a first hunt for 18-year old Aaron Papagalos! While hunting in Northern Arizona he made a one shot one kill at 330 yards. Aaron’s first big game hunt yielded a 3 x 4 bull elk. His choice of rifle was the McMillan Outdoorsman in 300 Remington Ultra Mag topped with a Nightforce scope.
Kelly McMillan recently returned from a successful ten day hunting safari in the Limpopo River Valley, South Africa where he hunted with four McMillan Custom Collection hunting rifles. The rifles outperformed even Kelly’s expectations. His hunt yielded seven trophy plains animals and an unforgettable experience. Kelly’s most prized trophy is the 58-inch kudu taken with the Outdoorsman topped with a Swarovski scope using 180 grain, Hornady rifle ammunition.
