Once the pre-order window closes, these exact versions may not be offered again. This program gives shooters the opportunity to secure something uncommon, stocks that stand apart not only in performance, but in character.

To kick off the program, we’re releasing the iconic M40A1 stock in Throwback Forest Smear V2 Camo for pre-order for the first time. This historic camouflage pattern has deep roots in military sniper rifle history and remains one of the most recognizable finishes ever produced by McMillan. Due to production capacity limitations and the complexity of this special finish, this release will be strictly limited to just 100 pre-order slots. Once those 100 positions are filled, this version will be closed to new orders.

Alongside the M40A1 release, we are also introducing two additional special edition offerings: the A-4 (M40A3/A5) Throwback Forest Smear V1 Pattern and the M2A DMR M14/M1A Adjustable Saddle in molded-in olive. These stocks represent the perfect blend of McMillan’s military heritage and modern precision shooting demands. All three of these special edition stocks will be available to pre-order for the next 10 days only, giving customers a limited window to secure these rare configurations before they return to the vault.
