How do I choose the right recoil pad for comfort?
Our standard option is the Pachmayr Decelerator, a high quality 1-inch recoil pad with no open side vents, made of medium density rubber specifically designed to reduce felt recoil. We chose it because it’s one of the finest pads on the market, and it can be modified to fit both standard and adjustable butt systems. It’s available in Medium, Large, and X-Large sizes, in 1/2-inch or 1-inch thickness depending on the size.
