Will my McMillan paint finish chip, and what’s covered under warranty?

Molded-in colors don’t chip. Period, they’re built into the shell, not applied on top of it.

For painted stocks, we use only the most durable, catalyzed paint on the market, the best available. Under hard use and rough handling, you may see some dings and scratches over time, that’s expected wear, not a flaw in the work. We stand behind our painted finishes against adhesion failure. We don’t warranty normal wear and tear, no one honestly can. When your finish needs attention, we’ll repaint it at a reduced rate. We built it, we’ll stand behind it.
