What inlet options are available for my stock?

Flat Top – A total stock blank. Gunsmiths and gunsmithing students often choose this when working on a project or keeping stocks on hand for future customer orders, so they can inlet any customer’s rifle model themselves.

Basic Inlet – The receiver outline and barrel channel are inlet, with float. No screw holes, trigger, safety, bolt handle, recoil lug, or bottom metal are inlet at all, only the action’s outline and diameter, and the barrel channel. Many gun shops choose this option to keep stocks on hand and finish the inletting themselves when a customer orders a build.

Full Inlet – A complete inlet for your rifle. Upon receiving the stock, your rifle should drop right in, bolt together, and be ready to shoot, no additional fitting needed. 80% of all our stock orders are built this way.
